Vendor Tiers
Choose Your Perfect Fit

We offer three vendor tiers to match your availability and how hands‑on you want to be. Each tier is designed to make your experience easy and enjoyable.

⭐ Community DIY Table

$35

What It Is

This tier is perfect for those who want to support our community event by volunteering a bit of their time. By pitching in with a 1‑hour volunteer shift, you'll receive a lower table fee. It's our way of saying thank you for being part of what makes this market special.

What You Do

You'll handle your own pricing, labeling, and setup — and then do a short volunteer stint to help us run the event smoothly. After that, enjoy the market and the community vibe!

Why Choose This Tier

It's community‑minded and budget‑friendly, and it helps keep the event going strong.

⭐ Standard DIY Table

$55

What It Is

We know that not everyone has extra time to volunteer, and that's totally okay! This tier is our standard option — the perfect choice if you want to participate without the volunteer commitment.

What You Do

You'll still do your own pricing, labeling, and setup, but there's no volunteer shift required. Just drop off your items, set up, and we'll handle the rest.

Why Choose This Tier

It's straightforward and flexible — ideal for busy folks who want an easy, no‑fuss market experience.

⭐ Full‑Service Drop‑Off

$95

What It Is

This tier is perfect if you're not available on market weekend. Simply drop off your labeled items up to 3 days before the event (and pick them up a few days after), and we'll handle the entire setup for you.

What You Do

You still label and price your items, but that's it! Drop them off at the designated location, and we'll take care of the rest. It's a full‑service option for maximum convenience.

Why Choose This Tier

It's the ultimate in flexibility. Perfect for out‑of‑town vendors or anyone with a packed schedule.

FAQ

Questions & Answers

Everything you need to know about selling at a Little Duckling Yukon Kids Market event.

What can I sell at Little Duckling Yukon events?

+

You can sell any items intended for children, including clothing, shoes, toys, books, puzzles, games, baby gear, feeding items, nursery dĂŠcor, and seasonal items. Everything must be clean, safe, and in good working condition. Items that are broken, stained, recalled, or unsafe cannot be accepted. Please review the item requirements in the Terms & Conditions for full details.

Do I need to bring my own table?

+

No. Every vendor space includes a 6‑foot folding table provided by us. You're welcome to bring your own clothing rack or small display items if you prefer. If you plan to bring a rack, please let us know in advance so we can remove your table and ensure there is enough space for your setup. Signage or simple décor to help identify your items is also welcome.

Can I share a table with a friend?

+

Absolutely! You're welcome to share your table with another seller. Only one registration is required, and the person who books the space is responsible for the full rental fee. You will also receive one vendor number, so you'll need to decide together how you want to divide sales and payouts.

If you prefer more space, you can also book one table and an additional rack space next to each other. This can be helpful if you're selling a mix of clothing and toys. Just let me know in your registration if you're signing up with a friend. Ideally, your clothes and items should be in a similar size category, to make browsing easier for our shoppers.

I want to volunteer, what can I expect?

+

Vendors who choose the DIY Community Table tier complete a 1‑hour volunteer shift to help keep the event running smoothly. Tasks may include greeting shoppers, tidying racks, or helping at checkout. It's a small time commitment that makes a big difference — and it's why this tier has a lower table fee.

How can I best prepare for the pop‑up?

+

Sort items by size and category, label everything securely with your vendor number + price, and pack items in easy‑to‑unload bins. Don't just drop everything in a pile on your table, but bring some bins to sort items by size, or bring your own clothing rack (please let us know in advance if you wish to do that). Clean, safe, good‑quality items sell best. Arriving on time for setup helps us keep the event running smoothly.

How do I tag my items correctly?

+

Every item must be securely labeled with your vendor number + price. Use tape, tags, or safety pins — whatever won't fall off during sorting or shopping. Labels must be attached firmly enough to survive the day. Unlabeled items can't be sold and may be treated according to the Terms & Conditions.

What time do sellers need to arrive for setup?

+

Sellers are given access 60–90 minutes before the event opens to the public. Your exact setup time will be sent to you by email after your registration is confirmed. Please plan to arrive on time, as late arrivals may affect your ability to participate.

All items must be fully labeled and priced before you arrive. Setup time is intended for arranging your table or rack, organizing items by size or category, and ensuring your space is ready before shoppers enter.

What is your cancellation policy?

+

Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event are eligible for a full refund of your table fee. Cancellations made within 30 days of the event are non‑refundable. If you need to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible so we can update our vendor list and waitlist if needed.

For full details, please review the cancellation section in the Terms & Conditions.

Josi and Max — Little Duckling Yukon Kids Market
About Us

The Story Behind Little Duckling

Hi, I'm Josi, the person behind Little Duckling. When I became a mom not too long ago, I was surprised by how hard it was to find good‑quality second‑hand children's items in Whitehorse. I spent so much time looking through Facebook Marketplace, messaging strangers, and hoping the right thing would pop up. It felt like there should be an easier, more reliable way for families to share the things their kids have outgrown.

Little Duckling – Yukon Kids Market grew out of that frustration and a lot of love. It's a simple, seasonal pop‑up where families can drop off their items, we handle the checkout, and the community gets access to second-hand children's clothing, toys, books, and gear — all in one place.

It's something I wished existed when I first became a mom, and now I'm building it for all of us. A space that's practical, sustainable, and rooted in the way Yukon families support each other.
